The story was told of the disciples who were
given a word by Jesus to get into a boat
and to go to the other side.
And as they got out in the

and began to roll.
And as they were out there over the sea,
the disciples were trying to
hold the boat together.
But Peter looked out in the distance
and he saw something.
He said, fellas,
I see something out there on the water.
He said, I'm not quite sure,
but it looks like it might be Jesus

coming this way.
They said, Peter,
sit down and be quiet,
ain't nobody out there anymore.
He said, no, but wait, I see something.
Walking over the wind and the waves.
And as it got closer, he said, that is Jesus.
That is you.
Jesus, is that you?
He said, yeah, Peter,
that's me, that's me.
He said, well, Jesus, if that be you,
then bid me to come out and
walk on the water.
Jesus said, come on, Peter.
And Peter stepped out of the boat,

and he began to walk on water.
And I believe that when he stepped out
he stepped out on faith
and began to do something he
had never done before.
How many of you know that Jesus will
allow you to walk over your troubles,
walk over your heartaches,
walk over your burdens?
Jesus gives the invitation tonight.
Touch somebody next to you,
tell them to get out of the boat.
Come on, walk on the water, it says this.
When you walk on the water,
I'll be with you.
