    G

    My

Pa was a preacher, one of the biggest preachers in

the state. I remember the day behind yesterday,

Pa was sitting on the porch reading the

    Bible.

He told me, he said, son, go

    in the backyard and

get the dog and gun and let's
    G

    go to hunting. I said,

    Pa, I said, today is

    Sunday.

    You ought to

    be somewhere preaching.
    Eb

He said, go and do what I told you. I go on out
    G

    in the backyard, shoulder
    Eb

the dog and whistle for the gun and go
    G

    on down in the woods.

Get out of there and the dog

    get

    behind something.

Runs the stuff way on across the wood

and run it up a tree.

    Me and

    Pa gets over there.

Got over there and so many leaves

up the tree we couldn't ski up it.

    So

Pa told me, he says, son,

go up the tree and see what it is. I said,

Pa, being she's a little older than I am,

    you go up there and

    see what it is.

Pa climbs on up the tree and

gets up there and gets on a rotten limb.
    D

    Down come

    Pa, down

    come the limb, and down
    G

    comes something else.
    Eb

It wasn't no coon, it wasn't no possum,
    G

but it's a big grizzly bear.

    And me and

Paul didn't have to shift now again.

    We was already in high.

    And me and

    Paul in that bath.
    F

By me being a little younger than

Paul, I get in front of
    G

    Paul.
    F

    I look back and
    G

Paul in the bath was playing a nip and tuck

    game.

What I mean by nip and tuck game, every

    time the bath was nipping

    Paul,

Paul would tuck in for me.

    By

Paul having a little more speed than me,

Paul gets back in front of me.

    I called him, I said,

Paul, said, let's have a prayer.

    You's a preacher.

He says, son, the prayer's all right in prayer meetings,

but it ain't worth a dime in bad meetings.

    • Best Tuning App Ever

      MaddProfessor

I've downloaded many tuning apps before and this one is by far the best. Easy to use, super user-friendly, and they have a bunch of fun different chords and songs to help you learn new music. I highly recommend.

    • Well-Designed App

      Rose the Black Cat

I mostly use this for tuning my guitar, which this app makes ridiculously easy. It also has a large selection of songs to play along to and it helps show you which chords to play as well how to make the shapes with your fingers.

    • Got me back into playing

      Tuliketsune

I got this app to tune an old guitar, and noticed it has a feature that autoscrolls as I play chords to famous songs. For some reason, this was a lot more motivating for me than any other way of practicing guitar. Now I'm actually practicing and remembering the names of chords 🙂

      Brad

Not only is it a tuner (best app tuner I've used personally) but it also has a metronome, games, chords, and a plethora of instruments to choose from and it's SUPER easy to navigate. I love it! Thanks for making an awesome app. From one musician to another, THANKS!!!

    • Very reliable tuner

      theNewPaul

This is a great app! Very easy to use and very reliable, if you are just starting out, you can take a big worry off your mind, by getting in tune quickly and easily with this app. Highly recommended!

    • This is the best guitar tuner ever.

      Caleb Schafli

It tunes your guitar accurately so you can get the best sound. I like all the other little games as well because they teach you how to play different chords and you can learn to identify the chords by listening to them and it is all offline.

    • Great to tune and play

I love how easy it is to tune and find and play my favorite songs.
