You don't have to remind me
Notwithstanding its goodness
It hurts me to see so much bigotry
The military service, if and the police
City hall, highest office
Straight to the hall of justice
There is nothing to gain from racism
This land has much to offer
But the mongers want to prosper
So they hide in the bushes, racism
And they burn down your churches,
Put the hood on their faces,
On your law -abiding crosses,
It was bad in the old days,
Now it works in many ways, racism
Don't forget the election,
How the mama got shattered,
Racism! Idiotism! Racism!
There is nothing to gain from ra
For years they've violated
the black man's civil rights
Wickedly subjugating with malice,
Look the law states very clearly,
But some playin' duns using ignorance
and continue to segregate
Rosa Parks didn't like it, Racism
Malcolm X used to fight it,
Marcus Garvey didn't play no, Racism
Martin Luther King said no, Racism
We all know the pain of, Racism
We all know the strain of, Racism
A tired complain about, Racism
It's a game for the insane, Racism
there is nothing to gain from ra cism
There's weakness and there's strong
So in spite of all this conflict,
we can't put this nation down
And the Jews who survived the Holocaust
and slavery dead and gone
So keep the faith in Martin Luther King
Sanctimoniousness is Ra cism
Self -righteousness is indeed
We gotta right all the wrongs
We must unite and fight out
Too much frustration, Racism
There is nothing to gain from ra cism
