It's time to adjust.
While I'm putting on my cheater here,
you know there's a book out,
101 things to do
while you put your cheater on,
but I didn't buy it,
so I'm in a bad way.
But down in the South, in the 1920s,
there were bands called jug bands.
They used a regular washboard,
a jug, a kazoo,
and a guitar or a banjo.
And it was sort of like Dixieland music.
So I picked up a couple of these songs.
One of them is called Washington
at Valley Forge.
Now Valley Forge
is not too far away from where I
live.
And when I go out there,
this song even has more meaning.
It's sort of a satire
on what really occurred
in that tragic winter at Valley Forge
after that there's another song
which I like to dedicate to
anyone in the audience
that weighs over 900 pounds
so this way I don't get hurt
Oh, Washington at Valley Forge,
freezing cold, but up spoke George,
singing,
Bo -do -dee -oh,
Bo -do -dee -oh -doe.
Oh, crazy words,
crazy tune, smile
George, keep prune and swoon, that
Bo -do -dee -oh,
Bo -do -dee -oh -doe.
On his ukelele, gaily,
he would strum a beat -a -lum
-bum
Dancin', prancin', then he'd holler,
Red Hot Mama
Crazy words, crazy tunes,
my how George would brunette swoon
That boat -o -dee -o,
boat -o -dee -o -do
Washington at Valley Park,
freezing cold, but up spoke George
Singin' bo -do -dee -oh,
bo -do -dee -oh -do
Crazy words, crazy tunes
While George was prunin' and swoonin'
At bo -do -dee -oh,
bo -do -dee -oh -do
On a cinderella galley
He would strum a beat
-a -lum -bum
Dancin', prancin'
Then he'd holler, Red Hot Mama
Crazy words, crazy tunes
My house, Georges, Brunettes, Young Lads,
Vododeo, Vododeodo
Nobody loves a fat girl
But oh,
how a fat girl can love
Nobody seems to want me
I'm just a truck upon the high
way of love
I'm all alone on the
count of my bones,
when every ounce of me is dying to
keep somebody warm.
Nobody loves a fat girl,
but oh, how a fat girl can love.
Nobody loves a fat girl,
but oh, how a fat girl can love.
Nobody seems to want me,
I'm just a truck upon the
highway of love.
Why the only game I can
get the boys to play,
is have them sit around and try
to kiss how much I weigh.
Nobody loves a fat girl,
but oh how a fat girl can
love a pretty mama.
Oh, how a bad girl can love
Oh, Oh,
