What thank you
Have a dear friend
who travels these these roads
Singing her songs and carrying on
misbehaving and having a blast
one of the most creative and energetic,
crazy people I've ever met. That's,
of course, Cheryl Wheeler.
And I've produced a couple of her albums,
and we've worked together
for years on the road
and had a wonderful time
knowing each other
for, like, 40 years now,
and it's been a blast.
And during one of our recording
sessions together,
she wrote this song,
and she claims that this song
was not so much inspired by me
as that it was my fault
and I wanted to know
how many of us tonight are
on some form of medication?
A show of hands?
Not very honest group are we?
Anyway Cheryl wrote this tune
and I hope you Enjoy it.
