    Verse 1
    Patiently
    she stares
    down
    the runway,

    Today's
    the
    day
    that
    he

    is
    coming
    home.

    Seems
    like
    he's
    been
    gone
    a life
    time

    And a
    life
    time
    is
    a long
    time

    to be gone.

    But there
    are songs
    that need
    singing,

    And
    there
    are things

    that must
    be done.

    There
    are thoughts
    that still

    need
    thinking,

    And there
    are wars
    that must
    be
    won.

    Verse 2
    He
    was just
    a boy
    when
    they
    sent
    for
    him

    And
    overnight
    turned
    him
    into
    man.

    Proudly
    he
    had
    served
    his country

    In
    a war
    he didn't
    seem
    to

    understand.

    The flag
    still
    waves,
    his
    war
    is over,

    He'll
    never
    have
    to kill
    again.

    And as
    she waits,
    she thinks
    it
    over,

    Is winning
    worth
    the prize
    we pay
    to win?

    Verse 3
    Her
    thoughts
    keep
    wandering

    to
    his
    childhood,

    When
    all
    his
    hand grenades

    were merely
    toys.

    And "war"
    was
    just
    a game

    that
    he was
    playing

    With
    plastic
    guns
    like
    other

    little
    boys.

    And ev'ry
    day
    when play
    was
    over,

    He'd
    put
    his
    little
    toys
    away.

    And
    she'd
    be standing,

    waiting
    for
    him,

    The way
    she's
    waiting
    here
    today.

    Verse 4

    As
    the plane
    stops
    she starts
    thinking,

    Will
    he
    still
    look
    the
    way
    he
    did
    before?

    Or will
    his eyes
    reflect
    the
    pain
    of
    killing,

    Like
    most
    young
    men
    when they

    come
    home
    from
    war?

    These last
    few
    minutes
    seem
    like
    hours,

    She
    tries
    her best
    not
    to cry.

    But there's
    that
    hearse

    filled
    up with
    flowers,

    Did
    he
    really
    have
    to die?

    Verse 5
    No,
    no, no,
    no,

    No,
    no,
    no,
    no,
    no,

    No,
    no, no,

    No,
    no,

    No,
    no,

    No,
    no,
    no,

    No,

    No, no, no,

    No,

    No,
    no,
    no,
    no,
    no.

      Best Tuning App Ever

      MaddProfessor

      "

I’ve downloaded many tuning apps before and this one is by far the best. Easy to use, super user-friendly, and they have a bunch of fun different chords and songs to help you learn new music. I highly recommend.

      Well-Designed App

I mostly use this for tuning my guitar, which this app makes ridiculously easy. It also has a large selection of songs to play along to and it helps show you which chords to play as well how to make the shapes with your fingers.

      Got me back into playing

I got this app to tune an old guitar, and noticed it has a feature that autoscrolls as I play chords to famous songs. For some reason, this was a lot more motivating for me than any other way of practicing guitar. Now I'm actually practicing and remembering the names of chords 🙂

Not only is it a tuner (best app tuner I've used personally) but it also has a metronome, games, chords, and a plethora of instruments to choose from and it's SUPER easy to navigate. I love it! Thanks for making an awesome app. From one musician to another, THANKS!!!

This is the best guitar tuner ever.

It tunes your guitar accurately so you can get the best sound. I like all the other little games as well because they teach you how to play different chords and you can learn to identify the chords by listening to them and it is all offline.
