Surpassing the winters of my past
meant to get off and walk away
Pushing night towards the day,
turning races for the snow
force him more than damage
Who can manage the cold spit
even if he doesn't know it
It's so cold and it's building
reflection is persistence
The limits that keep us squinting,
red currents dive in and out
It makes us boots until spring,
with a noose on every tree
Shakes leaves to the surface,
laying out the red carpet
Refinishing the landscape,
Earth's reborn in its coffin
and its cold nature suits me well
Drifting through the blizzards,
snowflakes introduce themselves
We're trapped in the present,
And the past lingers in footprints
I've got a shovel for my passage,
a puddle where I'm standing
and how the sun contrasts its composition
But there's mud in my passion,
I give a piece of my mind
But my dove's on its last
The cold slips from the lips
No snowflakes are sitting
I'm the last to fall, the last to melt
cause I'm the last one felt
I shimmer in the darkness
and il luminate the night
Feeling so tight like cold
I've got ice inside my throat
Tried to decipher what I've seen
