T 'was early on a Saturday morn,
I was strollin' in the wood.
who by the wayside stood.
I've come to take some photographs,
she said, as I drew near.
Said I to her, I do declare,
For I have come to photograph
So I pulled out my Nikon F
and placed it in her hand.
She said, that's quite a camera,
you've got it your command.
My camera so delighted her
She let me see her camera case
wherein her accessories lay.
I said to her, I'm sure you've
everything that can be bought.
Just let me stretch my tripod
before I take some shots.
We photographed from haylofts
If you've not photographed
you've not photographed at all.
She had her shutter opened wide
for daylight was all gone.
Likewise, my naked camera lens,
This lady had experience with cameras,
And I thought that her exposure's
Although she seemed to tire not,
Says, I will have to finish now,
She said, I've had Minolta's,
likewise, a Polaroid, Miranda,
But now I've had your Nikon F,
I'm sure that it's the best.
