Hosanna! Loud hosanna!
The little children sang,
Through pillared court and temple
The lovely anthem rang.
To Jesus, who had blessed them,
Close folded to his breast,
The children sang their praises,

And chanting clear and loud,

O Cana in the Highest,
that ancient song we sing
For Christ is our Redeemer,
the Lord of Heaven our King
O may we ever praise Him
With heart and life and voice
And in His blissful presence

Oh, that was great, kids.
Good job. Nice singing.
Hi, kids.
I'm Bob the Tomato.
And I'm Larry the Cucumber.
Welcome to Sunday school
on this beautiful Easter morning.
And a special welcome to those of you
who are joining us for the first time,
which seems to be a lot of you.
The song we just sang
was called Hosanna,
Loud Hosanna.
It reminds us of the song
the people of Jerusalem sang
when Jesus rode a donkey into town
that first Palm Sunday.
Palm Sunday was last week, Bob.
I know, Larry.
I'm trying to teach these kids
the Easter story,
so I need to start
at the beginning.
But wouldn't the
beginning be Christmas?
Well, yes, but.
Speaking of Christmas,
we haven't seen this many kids
at Sunday school
since Christmas Eve.
Isn't that great? Great?
Well, yes.
But I have no idea
how I'm going to teach
all these kids
the Easter story.
Don't worry, Bob.
I'm here to be your assistant
Sunday school teacher.
And if worse comes to worse,
I can always tell the sad story
of the Easter cow.
Uh, no thanks, Larry.
Now, Junior, I'll pick you up
after the service.
You try to have a good day,
okay? Okay, Mom.
Hey, Junior, what's the matter?
Hi, Annie.
My dad's been out of town,
and I was just hoping he'd
be back for Easter Sunday.
And he didn't make it, huh?
Nope.
This is my first Easter
without him around.
That's too bad, Junior.
But Sunday school's
gonna be great.
Bob's gonna teach us
all the Easter story.
Well, that's the plan, Annie.
But with all these extra kids,
I'm really gonna need more help.
Help? Did I hear someone say help?
Well, yes, Archie, but...
Wonderful!
I've prepared a musical lecture
on Easter traditions
around the world!
That's really, uh, nice of you,
Archie, but really, I think...
Brilliant! Larry, will you put on this CD?
Track 4. Your assistant
Sunday school teacher
is on the job!
