  • Verse 1
    I came to
    live in

    New

    York when I was 18.

    The
    week before I left,
    there was a

    Stephen

    King

    TV movie
    on.

    The story was very
    apocalyptic.

    Disease has
    taken over the human

    race and

    turned
    people crazy and
    there was mass hysteria,

    and most everyone
    dies.

    Part of the story

    takes place in

    New

    York

    City.
    I remember watching
    stampeding hordes of

    people trying to escape

    their inevitable death.

    The tunnels
    and bridges clogged,

    and I'll find

    During the same

time, I read a book called

    Black

    Dawn by

    Day.

    I bought
    the book in a shop

    in downtown

    Baltimore
    after school one

    day.

    The hippie cashier saw
    the book, touched
    my head, and
    solemnly said,

    You know, you're
never going to live to be

    my age.

    Do you know
    what that book is about,

    he asked.

    I nodded
    yes.

    Some day I'll write
    of the

    Native

    American prophecies
    that state the passage

    of this world into
    the next.

    There's
    a map
    in the book that shows
    where the safest
    places will
    be and also places
    in the country where
    there will be things
    like toxic waste
    spills,

    rioting, drought,
    floods, and disease.

    I came to

    New

    York believing the situation

    did not look good.

    After
    high school I
    told people my
    plan was to
    get the hell out before
    the year
    2000,

    before all this shit
    went down.

    I'm still
    here in

    New

    York believing
    these things
    come true slowly

    day by day
    as I spend
    and expend.

    The
    root difference now
    is I believe
    more in the importance

    of my inner
    reality than
    I do in escape
    plans.

    I also
    believe more
    and more that
    this idea
    of a pure
    place,

    untouched
    by
    the mistakes
    of our
    human race,
    does not
    exist
    anymore.

    Over the time
    I find
    it and
    scrounge up
    enough cash
    to
    go there,

    it
    will already
    be extinct.

    That this
    idea
    of a pure
    place,
    untouched
    by
    the mistakes
    of our
    human race,

    does not
    exist
    anymore.

    But by
    the time
    I find
    it,

    I'm scrammed
    at the next
    task.

    Jump
    first
    and
    don't ask
    ques
    tions

    First
    place
    to
    all who
    come

    This
    is
    the town
    of
    futures

    We're
    the starting
    gun

    We
    don't
    pray
    to
    high
    power

    We
    just
    watch
    out
    for
    fallen

    tower

    You're
    a song
    that keeps
    me
    holy

    The
    greatest
    love
    of
    all

    I'll
    miss
    the cere
    mony

    Of

    every
    spring
    an
    d fall

    We
    don't
    pray
    to
    our
    power

    We'll
    just
    watch
    out
    for

    Fallen
    tower

    Jump
    first
    and
    don't ask
    questions

    First
    place
    to
    all
    who come

    This
    is
    the town
    of
    futures

    We're

    the starting
    gun

    We
    don't
    pray
    to
    high
    power

    We
    just
    watch
    out
    for

    fallen
    tower

    • Best Tuning App Ever

      MaddProfessor

I've downloaded many tuning apps before and this one is by far the best. Easy to use, super user-friendly, and they have a bunch of fun different chords and songs to help you learn new music. I highly recommend.

    • Well-Designed App

      Rose the Black Cat

I mostly use this for tuning my guitar, which this app makes ridiculously easy. It also has a large selection of songs to play along to and it helps show you which chords to play as well how to make the shapes with your fingers.

    • Got me back into playing

      Tuliketsune

I got this app to tune an old guitar, and noticed it has a feature that autoscrolls as I play chords to famous songs. For some reason, this was a lot more motivating for me than any other way of practicing guitar. Now I'm actually practicing and remembering the names of chords 🙂

      Brad

Not only is it a tuner (best app tuner I've used personally) but it also has a metronome, games, chords, and a plethora of instruments to choose from and it's SUPER easy to navigate. I love it! Thanks for making an awesome app. From one musician to another, THANKS!!!

    • Very reliable tuner

      theNewPaul

This is a great app! Very easy to use and very reliable, if you are just starting out, you can take a big worry off your mind, by getting in tune quickly and easily with this app. Highly recommended!

    • This is the best guitar tuner ever.

      Caleb Schafli

It tunes your guitar accurately so you can get the best sound. I like all the other little games as well because they teach you how to play different chords and you can learn to identify the chords by listening to them and it is all offline.

    • Great to tune and play

      Lynae T

I love how easy it is to tune and find and play my favorite songs.
