That's what he told me!
He said, "Uhhhh... keep your foot on that gas,
& always be on guard,"
"'Cause when I come runnin' outta there
with all that money,"
He wanted me to "mash down
on it real hard"
He said, "Now, uhhh...
don't lemme come outta there & find
me a double- cross,"
"Because I'll murder
when the heat's on."

liquor store with all of that money in his hand,
He said, "Oh, there you are!"
He made a mistake in the dark & leaped
in the police car.
They put the handcuffs on him,
I said, "Child,
your crime might've outgrew him!"
Then they said, "Uhhh...",
