In the meantime, Little Duck too spotted
something wiggling on the bank.

Well, Little Duck Two went to have a look
at the side of the pond
and whilst Mummy Duck was cleaning her feathers,
Little Duck Two scrambled
out the pond
to have a look.

to see what would happen.
Now, back in the pond,
Mummy Duck was still
busy cleaning her feathers
and Daddy Duck was investigating
a clump of weeds to eat.
Little Duck Three looked around
for somebody to play with.
There was no one around.
So he looked up.
And across the pond,
he saw a small wooden bridge.
It curved right above Little Duck 3's head
and looked rather exciting.

to get onto that bridge.
How was she going to do that?
