Intro 1

Verse 1
Ebm
This here is on some (E flat minor) truthful shit
Bbm7
It (B flat minor7) seems like everything I do,
Badd9
you're (Badd9) used to it
And I hate hearing stories
Ebm
'bout who (E flat minor) you been with
Bbm7
That's (B flat minor7) when I gotta hide
Badd9
what (Badd9) I'm feeling inside
E
(E major) So you still think I'm confident,
Ebm
and (E flat minor) damn
Bbm7
Is this gonna (B flat minor7) last?
Badd9
You're up on a (Badd9) pedestal,
are we moving too fast?
Ebm
Feel like I'm in (E flat minor) crazy competition
Bbm7
with the (B flat minor7) past
Badd9
That's why I gotta (Badd9) ask

Verse 2
Ebm
This here is something (E flat minor) personal
Bbm7
I (B flat minor7) highly doubt this feeling
Badd9
is re (Badd9) versible
Knowledge is pain
Ebm
and that is why it (E flat minor) hurts to know
Bbm7
That (B flat minor7) you attempt to hide
Badd9
and (Badd9) put mistakes aside
Ebm
So I don't ever question you, and (E flat minor) damn
Bbm7
I can't even (B flat minor7) find the perfect brush
Badd9
So (Badd9) I can paint what's going through my mind
Ebm
Racing 'gainst my (E flat minor) self,
Bbm7
but I'm a couple steps be (B flat minor7) hind
Badd9
That's why I gotta (Badd9) ask

Bbm7
Did he take your (E flat minor) clothes off just like (B flat minor7) this?
Badd9
Did he give you (Badd9) loving just like this?
Ebm
Did you spend the (E flat minor) night in his bed
Bbm7
on the (B flat minor7) very first date?
Badd9
(Badd9) Tell me baby, am I too late?
