(A minor) (G major) (F major) Basic Instruction
Be (G major) (F major) (A minor) fore (G major) Leaving Earth (F major) (G major) (F major)
(C major) Life (A minor) is a test,
many quest (G major) s to universe
And (F major) through my research
I felt the joy and (G major) the (F major) hurt
The (A minor) first should be last
and the last (G major) should be first
Ba (F major) sic Instruction
Before Leav (G major) ing Earth (F major)
(G major) Life (A minor) is a test,
many quest (G major) s to universe
And (F major) through my research
I felt the joy an (G major) d the (F major) hurt
The (A minor) first should be last
and the (G major) last should be first
The (F major) basic instructions
before I (G major) even (F major) ac
knowledged (G major) his (A minor) wisdom
This goes back (G major) when I was twelve
I (F major) loved doing right
but I was trapped (G major) in hell
(F major) Had (C major) (A minor) mad ideas, (G major) sad eyes and tears
Years (F major) of fears but yo when
foes (G major) couldn't (F major) bear
(C major) I (A minor) searched for the truth since my (G major) youth
And went to church since (F major) birth
But it wasn't worth (G major) the (F major) loot
(C major) that (A minor) I was paying
Plus the (G major) praying, I didn't like staying (F major)
Cause of busy bodies and (G major) dizzy (F major) hotties
(G major) That (A minor) the preacher
had souped (G major) up the lies
Had me (F major) cooped up looking at Luke
Buck (G major) ing (F major) thigh (G major) s
Jew (A minor) in the service,
(G major) he swallowed up the poor
And (F major) after they heard this,
they wallowed (G major) on the (F major) floor
(C major) But (A minor) I ignored, and explored
(G major) my history that was un (F major) told
And watched mysteries un (G major) fold
(F major) And (G major) (A minor) dropped a jewel like So (G major) lomon,
but never followed (F major) men
Cause if you do, your brain is (G major) more hollow
than (C major) Space (A minor) Oblivion, (G major) or the Abyss
Where (F major) no trace of trivia,
left (G major) with the hiss
(C major) Does (A minor) it pay to be deaf, (G major) dumb, blind?
From (F major) a slave, he was kept from (G major) the mind
And (A minor) from the caves,
he crep (G major) t from behind
And (F major) what he gave was a
sect of (G major) the (F major) swine
(G major) When (A minor) the Bible, they con (G major) demned the pig
I don't (F major) mean to pull your hymns
or flip your (G major) wigs
But we (A minor) used to wear turban,
but (G major) now we in the urban
No (F major) more wearing beanies
or dressed like (G major) a (F major) genie
(G major) No (A minor) hope is broken
cause I (G major) focus on the facts
And (F major) put it on the tracks
and pour it through (G major) the wax
I (A minor) speak on Jacob,
it might take (G major) up some time
And (F major) too much knowledge,
it might break up (G major) the (F major) rhyme
I (A minor) did it anyway just to (G major) wake up the mind
Of (F major) those who kissed stones
of praise on (G major) the (F major) carpet
Those (A minor) who sit home
and sell book (G major) s by the market
Need (F major) to chill and get they mind (G major) revived
(C major) For (A minor) years, religion did (G major) nothing but divide
The (F major) basic instructions
before leav (G major) ing (F major) earth
(C major) Life (A minor) is a test, maybe quest (G major) to universe
And (F major) through my research
I felt the joy (G major) and I (F major) heard
The (C major) (A minor) first shall be last
and the last (G major) shall be first
The (F major) basic instructions
before leav (G major) ing (F major) earth
(C major) Life (A minor) is a test, maybe quest (G major) to universe
And (F major) through my research
I felt the joy and I heard
The (A minor) first shall be last
and the last (G major) shall be first
The (F major) basic instructions be (G major) fore leaving (A minor) earth
I stroll through the books of Job (G major) to unfold
And (F major) open bibles instead of
hoping on revivals
Call (A minor) ing on his name
and screaming (G major) hallelujah
When he (F major) hallelujah,
that's how the devil fooled ya
See, (A minor) look into my eyes, brethren
(G major) That's the lies of (F major) a reverend
Why should you die to go to (G major) heaven?
The (A minor) earth is already a space
(G major) The Bible I em (F major) brace
A difficult task (G major) I had to take
I (A minor) studied till my eyes were swollen
(G major) And only a (F major) rose went
I found out that we were the (G major) chosen
I (A minor) deal with the truth
(G major) and build with the youth
(F major) And teach my son
as he kneels on the stool
Son, (A minor) life is a (G major) pool of sin
Corrupted with fool (F major) ish men
And women with wicked (G major) minds
Who build picket (A minor) signs
The legalize (G major) abortion
The evil eye ex (F major) tortion
I quit, son, with my (G major) wisdom
Before (A minor) I converted, I was per (G major) verted
And knowledge was as (F major) serted
The study of wisdom, I perverted
The (A minor) understanding,
it gave me (G major) mental freedom
I even (F major) learned Caucasian
But really, the tribe of Edom
The (A minor) white image of Christ
(G major) It's really Caesar, or (F major) yeah, Ander
The (G major) second son (F major) of Pope Alexan (A minor) der,
the sixth of Rome
(G major) And once the picture was (F major) shown
That's how the devils tricked my (G major) dome
I (A minor) prophesied to save (G major) a man
But no one gave a (F major) damn
From my nation, the seed of Abraham
(A minor) Blessed with the (G major) tongue of Hebrew
Now we (F major) strung on needles
And some are plunging evils
So (A minor) study and be wise
(G major) In these days of (F major) darkness
Peace to my (G major) nephew Marcus
(F major) The (A minor) base of destruction (G major) (F major) (A minor)
(G major) (F major) (A minor) (G major) (F major)
(G major) (F major) (G major) (A minor) (G major)
The first (F major) shall be last
and the last shall (G major) be (F major) first
(C major) The (A minor) basic instructions be
fore (G major) leaving earth
Life (F major) is a test, may be quest to (G major) universe (F major)
And (A minor) through my research
I thought that (G major) you had a herd
The (F major) first shall be last
and the last shall (G major) be (F major) first
The (A minor) basic instructions
(G major) before leaving earth
Life (F major) is a test,
may be quest to (G major) universe
And through my research
I thought that you had a herd
