How to tune a 12 string guitar online

Press "Tap to tune" and allow microphone access. Pluck each course one pair at a time. The tuner shows the note and whether you are flat or sharp. Adjust tuning pegs in small steps, then pluck again to recheck. Work through all six courses, then repeat once to confirm everything stayed stable.

Standard 12 string tuning and target notes

A 12 string guitar doubles each of the six standard strings into courses. The lower four courses are tuned in octaves while the top two are tuned in unison. Use the note list as your target and tune one course at a time.

Tips for accuracy with a 12 string guitar

Twelve string guitars have higher string tension, so tune slowly and check each pair against each other. Tune in a quiet room and pluck one course at a time. Let each note ring clearly before moving on.
